FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 We will try to post in 2 categories: (1) "Housekeeping"  questions usually regarding orders, shipping, mail list, packaging, tracking, shows, etc.... and (2) inquiries of a more unusual nature. If you have an unquenchable thirst for Conte info, send a question to us.  We do our best to answer 'real' questions & if they are of probable interest to others, we just might post them here. ( Creating NEW sculpts/sets and processing orders are top priorities; we answer questions WHEN WE CAN....)

  HOW DO YOU SHIP?

  Most boxes ship USPS via priority mail or first class(if they weigh under 1 pound).  Very large boxes may ship FEDEX ground or USPS.  P.O.Box addresses can only use USPS.  (We do NOT use UPS). We usually ship 2 or 3 times per week.  Large items like playsets may take a few extra days to package up.  Most items ship within 72 hours of payment.  

HOW DO I CONTACT YOUR (FILL IN THE BLANK) DEPARTMENT?

We are amazed at the various emails/letters/phone calls asking to be connected with a specific dept.  We may make product worthy of a large company but we are essentially a Mom & Pop operation where everyone does a bit of everything.  We are doing our best to keep costs & prices as low as we can so we do not have the luxury of an extensive staff.    In answer to the question, any /all inquiries go to a few key team members.  RC designs everything and he gets a good laugh when someone addresses comments to "Your Design Department"

HOW DO I GET A JOB AT CONTECO?

Quite simply, you can't. We run things with a small crew and no one ever abandons ship. We are trying to keep things manageable while still enjoying a private life and having time for toy soldiers.  We have no intention of ever getting 'as big' as we once were.  

CAN I COME TO YOUR SHOWROOM OR VISIT THE WAREHOUSE?

Right now, the answer is NO.  We just don't have the staff or the warehouse in readiness for guests like we used to do way back in the Vegas days.  A lot of the work is done directly from our home. Hopefully, we might set up a showroom at some future date--but no promises.
